Choose Private Walk for exercise, sniffing, play and normal good handling. Choose Walk + Train for exercise alongside regular practice of skills your dog already knows. If your dog needs to learn substantial new skills, such as loose-leash walking or recall from the beginning, we’ll discuss a focused programme. Tell us your priorities so we can assess the right fit.

Tell us about triggers, barking, lunging, fear, bite history, escape attempts and any difficulty handling your dog. We assess suitability before accepting a dog; a private service does not automatically mean every dog can be handled safely.

Reactivity and strong fixation may need to be addressed before progressing recall around those triggers. Walk + Train maintains established skills and addresses small setbacks; it does not replace a focused programme for substantial new training or behavioural difficulties.

Tell us your dog’s age, energy, health and any restrictions from your vet. We consider those details when assessing suitability and agreeing the pace, activities and rest. We do not automatically accept every dog based on age or breed alone.

No particular behavioural result or timeframe is promised. We provide exercise and consistent practice of established skills. Responses vary with your dog’s starting point, health, behaviour, distractions and practice outside our visits.

The 7-Day Service First Guarantee covers care, communication and service quality; it is not a guarantee of a training result in seven days.

We reinforce established loose-lead walking, recall, stay and listening skills in everyday situations, at a level your dog can manage. We adjust the practice to their existing foundations and small setbacks. Teaching substantial new skills belongs in a focused programme.

Yes. Dog training is like going to the gym: regular practice helps maintain skills and supports continued improvement. Training builds a foundation, but your household still needs to reinforce familiar commands and desired behaviour.

Keep practice short and consistent, reward the behaviours you want to see more often, and gradually practise in different settings and around manageable distractions. Missing a day does not mean your dog suddenly forgets everything; aim for a sustainable routine. Skills are not guaranteed to be permanent or reliable in every situation.

Trainer support is included for as long as your Walk + Train membership is active. You can contact your trainer with questions about practising familiar skills and handling small setbacks. Dedicated owner coaching sessions and substantial new training are not included.

Your dog receives individual exercise and regular practice with the same trainer, who adjusts the session to their response. You receive footage and notes from their own visits. You still need to reinforce familiar commands yourself; this membership is not a replacement for owner involvement or a focused training programme.

Each visit is dedicated to your dog, with one trainer focused on their pace, interests and needs. Your dog does not spend hours in a van while other dogs are collected. They get concentrated, one-to-one time for exercise and practice of familiar skills.

No. We agree home access before you start, so sessions can happen while you’re at work.

Sessions are private, with one trainer focused on your dog. Choose one to five 45-minute sessions each week; we do not offer occasional walks or group sessions through this membership.

Yes. We give dogs water breaks during training and walks, especially on hot days. We adjust activity and rest to your dog’s needs and the conditions.

Sessions can continue in rain and in very cold or very hot weather only where we can adapt them safely for your dog. We consider their age, health and comfort as well as the conditions.

In hot weather, we prioritise water breaks, shade, rest and lower-intensity activity. In rain or cold, we adjust outdoor time and seek shelter where needed.

Your dog’s safety comes first. We won’t continue outdoor training or walking in unsafe conditions. If needed, we’ll contact you to agree a safer alternative.

Yes, by prior arrangement and following your instructions. Tell us what your dog needs before the visit so we can confirm the care we can provide, including feeding or medication.

Choose one to five private 45-minute Walk + Train sessions each week. We agree your recurring schedule before you join. Your four-week payment covers 4, 8, 12, 16 or 20 scheduled visits, depending on the frequency you select.

Yes. The service is built around the same trainer getting to know your dog and their routine. If illness or another issue affects an agreed visit, we contact you to discuss arrangements rather than leave you expecting a visit we cannot provide.

No. These memberships reserve recurring private visits at your chosen weekly frequency. They are not an occasional-walk or group-walk service. We confirm schedule availability before you join.

Tell us the days and times that work for you. We check the local schedule and confirm the recurring arrangements before you join. Your preferred time is not reserved just by sending an enquiry.

We agree collection, return, keys or access codes, alarms and any property instructions before starting. You do not need to be home for each visit once access is arranged. Send sensitive access details through the agreed private channel, not the website enquiry form. Tell us promptly if anything changes.

Provide the safe handling equipment and access arrangements we agree before starting. Tell us about allergies, medication, injuries and any changes to your dog’s behaviour or health. If feeding or medication has been agreed, supply what is needed with clear written instructions.

Tell us about allergies, dietary restrictions and adverse reactions before services begin. We agree suitable food, treats and handling instructions with you. Training treats used during sessions are included, with dietary needs agreed beforehand.

Yes. We share live GPS location through WhatsApp during the visit and the completed route afterwards. Location sharing depends on mobile reception, device availability and WhatsApp. It is not an emergency monitoring service.

After each session, you receive a training video, short notes about what your dog practised and how they responded, plus the completed route.

Let us know before joining so we can discuss an alternative for communication and updates. Live location sharing and the usual digital updates use WhatsApp; we should agree suitable arrangements before you commit.

Only if it has been agreed with you in advance and is lawful, safe and suitable for your dog and the conditions. Familiar recall does not mean off-lead activity is suitable everywhere. We may use a lead or change an activity whenever needed for safety.

Tell us before the visit if your dog is unwell, injured or potentially infectious, and disclose any veterinary restrictions. Do not send an unwell dog without discussing it with us. For a documented veterinary absence, provide a valid veterinary certificate so we can arrange rollover of affected sessions under the terms.

We try to contact you or your emergency contact and your nominated vet. If urgent care is needed, we may provide reasonable first aid and seek veterinary treatment, including another clinic if needed. We keep you informed as soon as reasonably possible. The service terms explain emergency authority and responsibility for costs.

We notify you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss an alternative. If we cannot provide the agreed visit, we offer a replacement. If a suitable replacement cannot be agreed, we provide an appropriate credit or refund for the unprovided service. We do not treat a visit we cancel as a client-missed session.

We share photos and videos of dogs at the park on our social media, with your permission. We do not share owners’ personal details or images of your home or private property. Session updates are sent directly to you, and choosing not to allow public photos does not affect your membership.

Membership is ongoing and billed every four weeks. Cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice because your recurring sessions reserve time in the schedule.

If you send us a written request under the Service First Guarantee within the first seven days of your initial billing cycle, we refund your first payment and end the membership without a cancellation charge.

To move a session, give at least 48 hours’ written notice by email or your usual WhatsApp conversation with us. A replacement within the same four-week billing period depends on availability and is only confirmed when we agree to it. If no replacement is available, your original booking remains available.

Sessions you miss, cancel too late or cannot attend because agreed access is unavailable are normally non-refundable and do not roll over.

If your dog cannot attend for a documented veterinary reason, provide a valid veterinary certificate and we’ll arrange rollover of the affected sessions. We agree replacement dates in writing when your dog is fit to return; these credits do not expire at the end of the four-week billing period. This missed-session rule does not apply to services we fail to provide or limit your consumer rights.

Yes. Active Canine Reset clients can book paid boarding, subject to overnight suitability and availability. Boarding nights are not included in membership. We confirm dates, care arrangements and the full price before you book.

Boarding is a separate paid service. No boarding nights, training kit or monthly treat gifts are included in ongoing membership.

Choose one to five private 45-minute Walk + Train sessions each week. Prices are $140, $270, $395, $530 or $660 per week respectively, including GST. We collect $560, $1,080, $1,580, $2,120 or $2,640 every four weeks in advance. Four weeks means 28 days, not a calendar month: there are 13 four-week billing periods over 52 weeks. We confirm your schedule, start date and payment dates before you join.

Every four weeks in advance through Stripe. The weekly price is an equivalent rate, not a weekly card charge. Walk + Train includes training treats used during sessions, trainer support while your membership is active, an at-home activity guide and available member discounts, alongside sessions, agreed home access, live GPS, videos and notes. A training kit, monthly treat gifts, separate owner coaching and boarding nights are not included.

Tell us the frequency you would like. We check availability and confirm any agreed change to your schedule, price and billing in writing before it takes effect. A request alone does not change the current agreed arrangements.

Contact us before making arrangements. Your membership reserves recurring visits, so an absence does not automatically pause billing or create a refund or rollover. Rescheduling needs at least 48 hours’ written notice and an agreed replacement within the same billing period, subject to availability. Cancelling the membership normally requires 30 days’ written notice. Veterinary-certificate rollover is handled separately under the terms.

If you are unhappy with the care, communication or service during the first seven days of your initial billing cycle, send a written request within that period by email or your usual WhatsApp conversation. We refund 100% of your first payment and end the membership without a cancellation charge. You keep the completed sessions from that week at no cost.

Include your name, membership start date and a short explanation of your concern. This is a service guarantee, not a promise of a training result in seven days. Your consumer rights still apply.

Normally, 30 days after we receive your written notice. We confirm the end date in writing. Sessions and charges continue during the notice period unless otherwise agreed, with any final payment adjustment and refund of prepaid amounts after the confirmed end date handled under the service terms. We do not add a whole extra four-week charge on top of the notice period. The Service First Guarantee and your consumer rights may allow an earlier end.

The listed membership covers the enrolled dog. Tell us about every dog you would like us to care for so we can discuss suitability, scheduling and the arrangements and price for each. Do not assume another dog is included in one membership.

We need your contact details, suburb, dog’s routine and relevant health and behaviour information, including vaccination status, allergies, medication and handling concerns.
